Weird how Asylum is more expensive than City.
shame cuz I already have Arkham City on PC( legit) but wanted to play Arkham Asylum again on PC without cracks like last time.
Should've got it on Steam summer sale, it was $26 for all batman games + all dlc (asylum, city, gotham city imposters)
played imposters but didn't like it, had city from early on disk so just needed a legit copy of Asylum..but I'll keep an eye out for the winter sale( which is not as spectacular as the summer one)
Because one is the Goty, the other is just the base game.

I was the same, but i've now played Arkham City on PC and on the xbox, and I reckon the PC is a lot better gameplay experience. I think the sheer number of controls you need for the game, quickly, make it better with a keyboard.
Does anyone know when this expires?

Dude, that link is for Arkham Asylum, a game released before Arkham City. They're different games. This post is for Batman - Arkham City. I haven't played Asylum, but i've read the popular opinion is Arkham City is a vast improvement.
Download speed is horrible for me…i'm on optus cable 100mbps, torrents i normally get over 2mbps. Been downloading this all day, speed around 200kbps, and the web installer program has crashed about 4 times. Never had such an issue downloading! Have logged a support call with GetGamesGo, haven't heard back as yet.
I see an option in the downloader for "Unlimited Speed", but it makes zero difference when selected. I did see it spike to just over 1,000kbps earlier today, but that lasted for only a couple of minutes. Currently it's been running about 6 hours, and says it'll still take another 24 hours.
Yea download speed is horrendous and I average about 1.5mb/s on steam so that gives you an idea of my internet connection. Oh well, 7 bucks.
Well considering i would have been the first to download, i've still got 8 hours to go and its currently downloading at 119kb/s :( must be a fair load on their servers
Game finally downloaded overnight, but not without a heap of dload client crashes and restarts. And the install appears to work, but in reality doesn't…the game dir ends up being only 4gb, should be over 16gb. Turns out i had a corrupted file (textures.tfc) in the dload dir, had to get a copy of this file from a friend to get the game to work.
Then, start the game, sign in using games for windows live, and it asks for my key…i type in what GetGamesGo sent me, and i get "this key is already registered". I'm calling shenanigans!
I put a buddy of mine onto this bargain, and he bought it too. Both our keys say they're already registered. Poor form from GetGamesGo. Pain too that they work on UK time, gotta wait until 10pm before I can get any response out of them.
FYI - i can play this with an offline/local GFWL id, but I shouldn't have to.
GetGames mob said the dupe key issue is a known problem and they've notified WB Games. They sent me a new key straight away, and it worked this time. Same for my buddy.
Sure enough the next day my hard drive completely died….replaced it with a new SSD drive, but have to download the 17gb AGAIN from them! Started at 5pm last night, still going now at 2pm, about 800mb left. Sheesh!
I purchased a couple of keys too, just got around to installing and activating one of them and it says that it has been used on two other pcs before mine. Contacting support.
Great price. Got Dirt 3 from these guys when it was $6 or something and all was smooth then, got the key right away. Was accepted by GFWL no worries.
