Hey guys,

Was looking for a shower awning tent for a camping trailer and stumbled upon this…

Caosgear are expecting a new shipment (sales guy on the phone reckon they will arrive this week) and are currently running a preorder sale taking $60 off the price. Now I'm not sure if Nomad is their own brand, but all other sites show the price at $289.

It's rated at 4.92/5 and looks pretty good compared to the competition/at that price. (Not being a cynic, but if it's their own product they could in theory be deleting bad reviews or fabricating reviews so proceed with caution, but some of the posted photos look legit).

Additionally, if you sign up to their newsletter you save an additional 5% bringing the price down to $217.55

FYI Shipping to Melbourne was $14 for normal post, $19 for express (No idea on other states, but expect similar pricing).

I can't vouch for the quality of the product as i've only just placed an order. But its almost half the price of the "good quality units" (EG Darche which I was considering) and looks better quality than the cheap kings unit.

I'll report back when it arrives, however the sales guy did say once they "arrive" the price will go back to normal. No idea if that's true or not…

    Spoke to a salesman recently and I think it's designed to double as a bathroom. Don't imagine crapping in the rain would be much fun…

    Having a camp trailer with roof top tent, flushing toilet and decent shower setup may seem extravagant but if it means the better half is more keen to go camping its money well spent!

    Depends, the Darche equivalent is over $400… Whether its worth it to you is entirely subjective and depends how much use you would get out of it.

  Quick update - got notification it has been shipped out this morning, so it looks like the stock has arrived. So if you order, i would expect it to be shipped today…
