yes, i called my bank and cancelled my card, must be a scam
Why? Looks like you won't have any internet now
Lol
@avoidfullprice: I still have lol
Were you a MyRepublic customer by any chance?
There was some discussion here that could be related. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/749495
Yes, MyRepublic customer
So MyRepublic is no more, and Superloop took over?
MyRepublic is no longer offering broadband services in Australia.☹️
As of 31 December 2022 MyRepublic has sold its customer contracts to Superloop Limited (Superloop). MyRepublic customers have now been transferred to Superloop. For broadband support, please call Superloop on 1300 924 003. Alternatively, you can email our team for support with any outstanding requests at [email protected]
ah shiiiit, I just reported them to my bank as a scam
I hope they cancel your service asap.
i still want internet
just didn't know that superloop took over yeh
Was any of this communicated to the customers? I don't blame you for cancelling on face value, if there was no communication.
no, just received a charge
LOL imagine not reading emails for the last 3 months
Oi! how'd you get a screenshot of my Gmail?!
you read all of them including the sneaky switch to a dodgy sounding loopysuper
superloop sounds dodge, that's why I did a chargeback
Ok karen

$69
$nice
If you did a search here, you would have found superloop is ISP company. The cost and timing would also have matched up with your monthly payment to MyRepublic.
Googling both of those names together and you have your answer.
Yeah now I know, but looking at my statement with superloop looked suspicious, so I cancelled my card and reversed the charge.
Have you contacted your issuing bank to cancel the dispute?
You will find out in the next thread from OP: "Help! No Internetz! LOLz" =)
@DoctorCalculon: hahaha
Call SL and ask them.
A charge on your credit/debit card? If so, and you never signed up, then your card has been compromised. Contact your bank/card issuer.
