Good Value hotel in Melbourne.

I am planning to go to Melbourne for couple of days. Anyone know of any deals going around for hotel bookings? Somewhere close to city.

Check the Mystery deals on Wotif, Lastminute etc. Got a really good Mystery one last year for Mantra on the Park and because I wanted two single beds got upgraded to a 2 BR apartment, all for $109 per night as it was Mystery deal. It's really easy to work out where it is, just searched the features and so no surprises. Another mystery deal turned out to be Stamford Plaza. Another suggestion is look travel deals on Scoopon and Allthedeals. Have had some great deals there, with breakfast & late check out. Never any problems either. Good luck.

Well, hope this help. Last time when my parents and in law came, I book them to a serviced apartment which located right in the city. (Just across the street from QV entrance in Russel st). The place is quite decent and close to QV supermarket which is a plus.

The Jasper Hotel right next to the queen vic markets is great. Funky friendly good value. If you are solo, they may have an especially good deal.
