Can't tell if trolling.

it does seem to be on special think average is $60, unsure what is so special about it so got one to test out for all of you
You’re a hero!
Some blokes at work got one with their company issued laptop. Think it must've been part of the deal on a $2-3k-ish or something because I doubt they'd buy it otherwise.
Anyway they all say it's pretty good. Not large, so they mainly use it as a backpack laptop case (and have crib bags and such seperate) but they can toss two laptops in there, a bunch of diagnostic cables and the chargers pretty comfortably.
Uh cool maybe actually worth $28 than
used it for a week now and it is pretty good. have quite a few pockets. Definitely worth it if under $50 but not worth $177
Was $177
Is this that minigame from the price is right where you have to guess where the decimal went?
Introducing the Lenovo Eco Pro 15.6" Backpack. Designed in honor of Earth Day 2020, it's made almost entirely from recycled materials—the equivalent of 34 plastic water bottles. Being green has never looked or felt so good. Available for a limited time only.
We took the equivalent of 34 plastic water bottles and recycled them into pellets, which were melted and spun into yarn. This was then woven to form the pack’s fabric, lining, and trim. The result is a stylish, durable backpack that can handle whatever the day brings.
Approximately 83% of the backpack is recycled from items that might otherwise have ended up in landfills and waterways. By taking steps to reduce such waste and pollution, we can all help our planet.
I love the direction we're heading, when you take sickness to an entirely new level 🥰

Of course, the real 'earth day' option here is not to buy a new backpack…
(That said, I would expect a damn good laptop pack for that much money)
I like how the handles from luggage for into it for transport etc
Bought one because lifetime warranty…. Wonder how they go honouring it
I think they meant $17.7
OOS
this rrp is laughable, you aren't saving anything. if fine the sale for 28.05 is also laughable. i think this should have an rrp of 29.99 and sale for 19.99, and i am being generous.
You are paying for the brand. Imagine if this was Louis Vuitton. Tell that to your wife when you give it to her.
You would have to be an absolute idiot to buy anything off MyDeal, let alone Lenovo inflated price landfill
"MyDeal data breach impacts 2.2M users, stolen data for sale online"

Imagine still using your real details by now with all the hacks since last year….
absolute idiot to buy anything off MyDeal
You'd need to be an absolute idiot to think a past data breach is still happening and to use all your real details online regardless of where you shop.
MyDeal has been breached, the data taken and the vulnerability rectified. It's much more likely to happen to another company, especially because of our lax legislation and general attitude infosec is a waste of money until it happens. Companies didn't even have to report breaches until recently.
I can't tell if this is a shill or troll.
Who said the past data breach is still happening? WW did a cover-up.
How do you know the vulnerability was rectified? Why would a breach be more likely to occur in another company? (especially given MyDeal was breached previously)
Are you genuinely saying you would prefer to do business with a company that has previously had a data breach than one that hasn't? Fools don't learn.
Holy shit your entire post is fearmongering and what ifs, while having absolutely no logic. It's clear you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about and no understanding of cybersecurity or infosec.
I know the vulnerability is rectified because it's been 5 months and the systems would've been patched out the day of 😂😂 They then would have had to enact their cybersecurity breach plan which would entail things like informing the public (something extremely hard to do with such idiots) and finding further holes to plug.
Everyone can and does get hacked. It's a matter of when and how big. Australian companies don't care about cybersecurity until it's a problem.
Let me try to paint a picture. Why don't robbers rob the same house twice in a row? Because a) they got what they wanted from there the first time, b) it's going to be harder to get in undetected the second time and c) there are plenty of other easier targets.
Please don't reply until you have been at least partially educated.
Did a single person ever pay $177 for this?
Cancelled and refunded, supposedly price error. Lame
lmao 177, I thought it might have been an actual cheap laptop or tablet that was getting cleared for 28. Wouldn't even pay 28 for a bag.
