Pro-Lift Trolley Jack 2000Kg G2000-A $99 + $12 Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Repco

60

If you do basic car servicing yourself - this is a great tool at a very good price. I've had it for a few years (paid $153) and it takes a lot of hassle out of raising and lowering the car.

Warning, it is a heavy beast so if you are not keen on visiting Repco and carrying it to/from the car - $12 flat rate national shipping in their online store is a good option.

    To save you hunting:

    Lifting range: 135-495mm

    • This doesnt sound very high, is it on the smaller side?

495mm is actually quite a lot when fully erect.

          Hehehe. You said erect.

      • It’s a pretty decent lift height. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it. 135mm lowered is a little tall however, you might need to raise the car with another shorter jack or ramps before getting this one underneath.

      • I use it for my Rav4, which is not a low sitting car. This lifts it high enough to put jack stands under the car and comfortably get underneath to change the oil.

I too have a few of these.

They come with ISO36 oil, and I find they very slowly lose height in summer.

    For the extra $14,
A bottle of Iso46 oil solves that.

I think we're just a bit too hot for their "international fill".

  • I want the Costco one. Is it ever going on sale?

Please be careful with these (or any jacks).

I was getting under the car when it gave out. Lucky I had extra jack stands.

Don't forget to use jack stands folks. It saved my family a lot of grief

Unless your family were the ones who fiddled with your jack…
Been watching too many true crime shows I think.

    • And bricks under tyres to be triple safe

  • Damn, that's a bit big for the bedroom……….

    Anything smaller ??

  • I had mine leaking out of the box, replaced at my local repco with one that then had corrosion. I'd suggest checking it before leaving the car park, the 3rd one is working great for my g3 wrx.
