    $10 Admin Fee

  • -7

Lol @ admin fees on tickets

  • -1

    What’s the admin fee for?

  • +3

This is the way our service operates! These are giveaway tickets. You are paying an admin fee for using our service

It's not very on the house with $10 admin fees

    • +1

Well it is not $150 for two tickets …it is a service fee for using our site

    • +1

The house in this case refer to the producers or people who put on the show, not services like this who act as a third-party promoter.

      Dont be a choosey beggar.

  • +4

Don't know why people are negging… the $10 admin fee is clearly listed in the title. OP has been up front with the cost from the start.

Previous deals are exactly the same… yet people suddenly care about it?

    • +1

Yes, anyone who make a booking for theatre or concert would have to pay a processing/admin fee to the ticket agent such as Ticketek. This is no difference.

I have been using sites like this for a few years now and noticed that the admin fees usually varies depending on the venue. It's On The House usually charge a slightly higher admin fee than PromoTix for the same show but it's their business and they have the right to decide how they want to run it.

appreciate your comment and understanding that our service needs funds to stay afloat.

Also don't understand why this getting so many negs. Show Films First, Promotix and others also have admin fees on "free tickets".

It's understandable that they need to charge this, not only to prevent people just randomly grabbing tickets they don't plan to use (ruining it for others), and there are humans that actually have to send out the free tickets or work with the event organisers to make sure your name is added to the list.

Also don't understand why this getting so many negs.

People see the Associated/Rep tag then find any stupid reason to downvote. This site breeds toxic bandwagons.

Thank you for understanding and supporting us and The Arts 🙏

  • What's the address please?

The Alex Theatre is located at: 1/135 Fitzroy St, St Kilda VIC 3182

    Upvoted to oppose stupid downvotes.
You can't get much for $10, not bad for a stage show.

      • Thank you kindly

  • Promotix VIP deals are extremely popular on this website, and all their "complimentary tickets" have admin fees. The double standard and entitlement amongst some here is disgusting.

    • +1

thank you for understanding re admin feels. It is the revenue stream for us to survive.

      • I've reported the negs as invalid per the guidelines. We'll see if the mods action it.

        • +1

That is really thoughtful of you and very much appreciated.

          Much gratitude!

  • +1

    Upvoted to negate the whiners.

$10 to get two tickets to a show is a bargain, even if I'm not interested.

    • +2

:) of course you cannot be interested in everything we promote.. however, with such a small price to pay, even if you go and see what this show is about, the admin fee is like a price for two coffees. We are here to support The Arts and we would love people to try those art forms or events that normally they would not go to, just to give it a go. See what is out there, form an opinion, provide your feedback …
