    Are Hisense fridges reliable though?

    I'd prefer to buy LG - similar look and layout but won the Choice test for several years now. Albeit a little smaller.

    When I was looking for a fridge recently Hisense had mixed reviews - ie dripped water, randomly stopped cooling etc.

    LG seems to just work well.

      I've had a Hisense fridge for a few years now.

      Freezer section is fine but even on the highest chill setting, the fridge bit struggles to cool food down in summer. I have to keep e.g. scotch fillet steak in the fridge for a maximum for the day after buying it, otherwise it risks going off cos it doesn't cool it down very well.

      Would never buy a Hisense again.

        Yeah completely pointless if the main thing it's meant to do (keep food cold) it doesn't do reliably.

      My LG fridge went kaput recently (8 months in) and it's been a headache getting it resolved. My last LG fridge was fine. Not gonna trust Hisense though. Just here to complain :)

      6 stars would be great if it provides equivalent cooling to lower star rating fridges but it seems the efficiency comes at the expense of performance which is worrying.
      I have a 15yo LG which is still going strong although it's seals are starting to crack and looking a bit tired. Hmmmmm!

    I have a similar Hisense fridge (HR6BMFF453C) and it sucks. Very loud and annoying. Better to pay more for a decent brand.
