    Anyone else who has one of these noticed that if you have 2 usb c cables plugged in, when charging one device it limits the watts?
    I physically have to unplug one cable, even though it’s not charging a device to get it to charge at a higher watt. Is this normal?

      Yeah sadly it is normal. I learned too late too, bought one to charge my steam deck and phone, and I can only use it for one or the other. Once a cable is plugged in the port is considered active. (which is why you shouldn't leave a cable plugged into your power bank, another lesson I learned late).

          You will probably have to wait for the 120 watt version to come to Australia where you can do 60 watts on 2 ports. They also have a 150 watt (https://www.anker.com/products/a2340?ref=naviMenu&variant=41974288777366&discount=WS24A234019&listingPlan=b#!) version which can split the power equally between 3 type c ports

          Almost all of these multi port chargers can charge at higher speeds with fewer things plugged in, to get something that can meet higher requirements (eg 65w + 25w) you probably either need to get a higher power device which can do 100w on a single port, or buy multiple single port chargers, I've got a 4 port (2c + 2a) that can do 150w ish watts with all 4 ports in use from zyron, I got it because I wanted to charge a laptop at 65w and my phone at 25w at the same time

        With a SteamDeck and a phone, I would assume you'd be getting USB-C 1 + USB-C 2 (45W Max + 20W Max).

        Are you connecting the SteamDeck to USB-C 1 and Phone to USB-C 2? Are you getting a warning that there isn't sufficient power on the SteamDeck?

        I didn't realise that this was the case when cables are plugged in.
        Thought the limitation was only when another device was also charging at the same time
        So literally to get max wattage it's still 1 cable plugged in and 1 device charging

        Speed of charge’s not the only advantage to using USB C to lightning, you get PPS as well which helps maximise battery life (if it’s a PPS charger (don’t think the main link unit is, the slim linked below is PPS)).

          I ended up buying the slim one below so that's good to know. I will say there's so much terminology here. PPS? GAN? PD? Super Fast Charging 2? Ultra fast charging…. I feel its to purposely confuse the consumer or maybe im just dumb

            @thecloudking: It’s stupidly complex.

            PD is a standard, the 3.1 iteration of which incorporated PPS (though PD chargers are not necessarily PPS).

            I only update gear when it’s really struggling to meet purpose or broken so battery condition is something I’m always keen to maximise.

            PPS is a good reference point to achieving this end. If it’s not listed as a feature and I can’t find it in the manual/promo specs I wait for something else to pop up.

    Just noticed this in the details of this product. I feel it isn't value for money if you have Samsung devices which support super fast charging 2.0. I am a bit of surprise that the charger doesn't support that.

    Supports Super Fast Charging for S22 Ultra but does not support 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0.
