I've had a few issues with this refrigerator, including water in the bottom crispers and the freezer catching a 1 cm thick sheet of ice at the bottom and back of the freezer. Usually, I've worked around the issues, by emptying the water out of the crispers and knocking the ice out once a month.
However, yesterday, all the freezer items started defrosting, and this morning I had to throw it all out. The freezer is showing -19 degrees so my only thought is either the sensor is misreporting the temperature or perhaps ice is built up around the sensor.
Any ideas?
Happens to my Whirlpool fridge/freezer as well (3 years old)… Meanwhile my 25 year old Hoover fridge/freezer has been tip top reliable, minus the rusting.
I think modern appliances are just built to fail.
