  • C2 OR C3 ?

    • This is C3.

  • or Sofirn SC31? 2000 lumens vs 1200 lumens for same price?

  • I wonder if this one is ever on sale. I really want to try it out.

    • I have the smaller version, the SP36 and that is crazy bright and great build quality. Couldn't go wrong with the Q8 I reckon.

  • +1

I bought this instead for $37 with 15% coupon, seems much more powerful and well-built. It's very bright and comes with tonnes of accessories.

    • Wow thanks. I will get it and try out. Seems to have lots not bad reviews.

    • 10000 Lumens, that's what I'm talking about!!!

      • Read the comments from older post. Not sure if it's a good buy.

        • +1

A lot of the comments complained about needing to cycle through the modes to turn off the torch. I found long-pressing the power button does the trick.

      • +2

You certainly won't be seeing 10000 lumens as it's total bullshit

        • Could I realistically expect 6K lumens at least? 10K is from marketing guys taking the piss.

          EDIT: You were totally right.

Sofirn Q8 Plus Super Bright Torch max 16000 Lumens

This one costs $149 for that reason.

            • +1

@Lone star: I would call bs on 1 xhp 70.2 led outputting 4 times the maximum spec from the manufacturer. LoL
The sofirn uses 6 leds so it's much more believable. Not to mention it's a more reputable brand than some random guys on Amazon claiming 10k lumens on a single led chip.

    • Looks to be the best value for money.

Their claim of 12 hours of runtime is dubious at best for such a high powered torch light. That would be under the lowest brightness setting?

What's your experience with battery life for this torch?

      • I’ve only had the torch for a couple of days, but I have no doubt the 12 hours runtime is at its lowest setting. For my use case it’s fine.

  • any Wuben x1 falcon deal?

  • Torch was good while it worked. I bought one in October and it failed within 3 months, doesn't charge or turn on

    • Try taking the head and tail cap off and clean the end of the tube, copper contacts on the head and inside of the tail cap. I had similar problem on another torch and it looks to be too much silicone lube got on the contacts. Silicone lube doesn't conduct electricity.
