Good well priced wireless Mouse for general computer use/gaming that the battery lasts longer than 2 days

Looking for a Mouse with a rechargeable option or a long life battery that lasts a reasonable time.

Mainly use it for my laptop as I hate the touchpad for general use and some gaming. I bought a Microsoft one from JB for about $30 M235 I think which I thought would be decent but an Energizer battery lasts 2-4 days depending on use but have read some other sites where people have stated their mouse battery lasts up to 12 months or they have one which you can actually plug the mouse in and recharge it. I have seen some other models like the M325 which state the battery lasts up to 18 months, does this come with a battery or is it just going off a good quality battery cause 18 month seems like a long time.

Also with the long life battery options how much does it cost to buy a replacement battery, assuming it would be lithium or the like?

Looking to spend less than $40

Thanks for any info.

  • thanks Tony, yes I wondered if it was faulty but I had already thrown the packaging and receipt away so wasn't able to take it back and try and swap unfortunately.

I might give the M325 a go can get it pretty cheap from amazon by the looks off it

  • My MS or Logitech wireless mouse all last very long.

But not the Logitech wireless gaming mouse G7, the rechargeable battery only last 1-2 days.

I'm using a Logitech MK710 keyboard + mouse combo (I paid $85, I know this is double your budget). I'm sure you could find a Logitech unifying combo set like mine (minus the fake leather trimmings) for around the $50 mark. To find the cheapest price, staticice.com.au is your best friend here :)

  • Thanks daewoo I'll check it out

  • looking at this:

    not so cheap

you get bargains every so often in the $40 range but its either non unifying (old stock) but if it works its works

  • I've got the same mouse, and it lasts about 4-5 months using dodgy "dollar-shop" batteries, so yeah, something must be wrong with it.
