XFX Radeon RX 7900 XT Speedster Merc 310 20GB GDDR6 320-Bit Graphics Card $1299 + Delivery ($0 MEL/WA C&C) @ PLE Computers

320

Another promotion on the 7900XT, I think this is a good price considering the Sapphire 7900XT reference card is only $50 cheaper at $1,249. It also fits the NR200 for those interested in the ITX builds.

I love my 7700X & XFXRX7900XTX build, has the right amount of X's

        • now i'm looking at how to mod the XTX into a xbox for maximum X yield.

          in your X670 motherboard?

  • What kind of name is 'Speedster Merc 310' ?

    Merc? 310? What?

    • +1

      310 refers to 3x 100mm fans

    Such an ugly backplate!

90% of the performance of a 4080 for 70% of the price, these are starting to look like a decent option. Prices are still dropping though so I reckon I can hold out until June.

    • If these started at $1300 from launch I reckon they would have sold out

I'm of the same mindset. My 3060 (which is apparently now the slowest component of my PC) will wait until EOFY. I'm thinking I might appropriate my tax refund towards a 7900XTX…..

Take my +1 for the Family Guy reference.

I've got the XFX 6700 XT Merc 319, nice card. Chunky, but runs cool and quiet, and clocks high.

  • I recently built one with the XFX RX6800XT. How much better is this compared to an RX6800XT?

    • Lots if you game at 4k.
      Otherwise not lots.

  • This or 4070 Ti if the price is similiar (to which it is pretty much now)?

My 3060 Ti still does decent at 1440p though.

    Here are my 2c:

4070Ti if you care about DLSS and RT. Though you will need either a new ATX3.0 psu or an adaptor for the new 12VHPWR pin for the 4070Ti. If you care about ITX builds like I do, then you will find the 4070Ti are rather chunky. The 1440p raw performance without DLSS and RT from the 7900XT is better than 4070Ti from many reviewers and more power efficient (less transient spikes compared to 6900XT or 6950XT)

This XFX 7900XT model fits NR200 and specified requirement is 750w which means it can be easily handled by the Corsair SF750 whereas 7900XTX requires 850w (though some may argue the SF750 is sufficient).

I personally find this version of the 7900XT perfect for my planned NR200 build as it will run cool, slays 1440p gaming, only requiring 750w psu.

Bonus points that I can also deshroud in the future with the XFX as their cooler is best built for deshrouding and replace stock fans with noctuas.
