  • Ok price, i bought my doom for 5 aud.

Was thinking doom eternal for 8 aud tho lol

  • +1

    Cheaper off IndieGala, ~$6.20 AUD

Gamebillet and a few other official stores also have it for between $6.30 and $7. Eneba and those sites are sitting at the same price range as well.

    • To return my copy of Doom bought last night for ~2.50 or not to return, that is the question

      • If you're still within the refund window (I think less than 3 hours of gameplay or something) then by all means :) Otherwise not worth the effort.

Oh, I'm wating on a 512gb card. I had been riding by on an old spare 200gb plus the built in ~40gb, but I saw the sale and caved, bought Doom, Jedi Fallen Order, Just Cause 2/3, and a stack of other games I've already played to death elsewhere, but would go again on the toilet. It was the push I needed to buy a bigger card.

Point being, nothing I bought is downloaded. Actually, I did download Goat Sim, Half Life, Peggle, Zuma, okay, nothing full sized is downloaded.

The (profanity) Steam sale legend is real, and I am stoked to get in on it.

Edit: Forgot my initial comment didn't mention I'm Steam Deck, this makes more sense with that knowledge.

Further edit: (profanity) it, it says it's region locked, only works in the region bought, yadayadayada, I choose to delude myself into thinking it won't necessarily work on an Aussie account, to justify my not bothering to refund it.

          • @TheDukeOfNukem: Ah, it's such a small saving anyway, bob's your uncle

If you've already bought it you've already bought it. If you do choose to pickup any other titles in the future, check past https://gg.deals/ first to see if it's cheaper anywhere else

            Enjoy your games!

@CrispyChrispy: Nice, I'll keep the site in mind.

Normally I'm pretty good, I've used PS Prices for years for PSN and Xbox, and buy pretty well all my digital shit (re: all my games) from Eneba the last couple years, but I didn't even think to check. Saw 9 bucks, thought it was fine, moved on happily. I've bought on Steam already several things from Eneba and Fanatical rather than on Steam, Doom just slipped me up.

Who knows, pie in the sky, one beautiful day, Microsoft will open up the gates and let Game Pass run native on Steam Deck and I won't need a copy either ways.

  • Was Doom 2016 really listed on it's own for $8, or only really as part of the bundle?
