Hi All,
Is anyone else having this issue? Whilst i understand its odd to have a magsafe charger with a samsung i use magsafe mounts in my car and for my wallet so for my S23 Ultra i went with a magsafe case to continue using my accessories including the magsafe charger but note that it will only charge for a second and disconnect, then try again and disconnect, ultimately not charging as it intermittently attempts to charge but never gains battery.
I have tried the phone with and without the magsafe case with the same result. I also note the phone charges fine on a regular wireless charger just not the apple one, anyone else experience this or may know why? From my understanding its simple a Qi charger so should work fine but im having no luck
Sounds like your phone or magsafe charger is faulty.
I have a genuine Apple magsafe charger and My S23 Ultra charges fine on it, Fine as in it doesnt dissconnect like your's does. The genuine Apple magsafe charger will charge very slowly somewhere around 5w, I bought one of those rip off magsafe charger which charge at over double the speed of the genuine one but still not as fast as non magsafe ones which sucks but i think it's cause magsafe was an Apple only thing until the S22 Ultra which had the first non apple Magsafe case afaik.
