I deposited $2k (osko, instant) , got 10 free shares, 8 amc, 2 KO (coke) transferred $10 to usd and bought 1 amc share (off market) .. then got two bonus amc share from the transaction. It didn't appear at first (bonus 2 chances), but I got into contact with agent and they added straight away.
Overall, pretty great for a $2k aud deposit - currently $183 usd shares to cash in.
The platform is massive too, very different to stake and think markets. A little similar to Tiger or Binance.

It's not a scam. Although their brand name is rather juvenile, moomoo is owned by Futu, a publicly listed company.

in my experience i the turn around was around a few days. the free shares took a few days to arrive but you get to spin to win as soon as the money is in the account and can transfer out within a day.
Almost 50-50 between AMC and GME. So their target market is idiots, then.
They do go so far as say the average payout, and they make the chance distribution easy to find, unlikely other similar offers

Someone posted (I think in the Webull thread) that it is and that it is treated the same way as the crypto giveaways that were all the rage. Counts as cap gains and the original cost is 0. Not sure if it is true or not though. I’m not planning on disclosing it tbh. Kept all the emails etc if worst case I need to work it out.

It isn't compulsory when you signed up, well at least it wasn't for Webull, havn't signed up to this one yet. I'm not sure how much the ATO even know anyway even if you put your TFN. I know when i was selling/buying a heap of stocks when did my tax return there would be a banner up the top 'reminding me' that "you sold stock ABC, XYZ, on this date". It didn't have $ amounts or anything like that.
