Also, out of all of Valve’s games to get a new release, Counter-Strike needs it the least
I agree. However I also believe people need something different after over a decade.
Might bring some new people in though.

The game has good potential to earn with season passes and micro-transactions. If there's one thing Valve likes doing it's earning.
Good potential! approximately 30.2 million cases were opened in February 2023. Each case costs $3.45 to open. So yeah, not so micro.
