Unsure when this promo will end, but has just pulled the trigger on this 14" laptop. Seems like its education store only.

Been looking around for a 13" or 14" and preferably the most recent model. Having a touch screen and pen will come in handy for the additional design task.

  P14s AMD Gen 3 with Ubuntu is $1069 which is nice. EDU store only, too.

  but you need to add $240 to get a 100% sRGB screen, which is still cheap for a P series ThinkPad

  faster RAM compared to Intel, 6nm process, great keyboard, solid build.

      Works for me - need to be logged in to edu store first.

      That's ridiculously cheap for a P-series ThinkPad.

    Agree. The ram on the 9i was a bit of a letdown, considering its now on a 13th Gen CPU.
