Watercooling - Where to Obtain a Bunch of Fittings and Pipe?

Hi

I have an old pc with waterblock. I’d like to have a go at watercooling. I want to test bed first and not sure exactly what fittings I’ll need. I was hoping to grab a bulk lot but it seems everything is sold individually.
Who would you suggest buying from and any particular brand?

i'm pretty sure you can get kits with flexible pipe, tank, etc.

But tbh, when you're spending that much, you want it to be perfect and custom.

AIO have taken over the bottom end of watercooling.

  • Why?…. its an old pc. There is no point if there is no substantial performance boost.

      Good to practice on…

Exactly; and the point is to have fun playing with something I haven’t done before.

        • Which block?
Familiar with OCAU?.. there's a few resources there and quite often spares floating around/request via wtb

PC Casegear Generally helpful if you've got an idea of what you want

        • I'll never understand PC enthusiasts. Surely the fun is to be had with the computer itself, and the hardware is just a means to that end? Glass windows on the side of PC cases, neon lights, RGB. It all looks gaudy to me as well. Not something that would impress anyone except other PC enthusiasts.

I’ve custom looped a few PC’s. It’s not cheap. In terms of my dual radiator, hardline CPU and GPU set up the watercooling alone was in excess of $1000.

It’s not worth doing unless you’re going to reuse the parts for a new 2023 build after you’ve tried in the old PC.

Here is my build - https://imgur.com/a/cYsq05Q

    • That's beautiful!

      • Thanks. Try to avoid the RGB stuff so just plain black and white

  • i use all EK stuff, keep in mind ur going to need a pump and a rad as well not just fittings,
you are dipping your toe into an expensive hobby, id recommend at least getting some new gear to watercool if you can swing it that is

but if you look around on youtube a lot of the weekly builders use barrow, alphacool, have seen one or two byski blocks in use
