I bought it. Went into TGG today, just said "I need Macbook Pro 13, What's the best price you can do for me? First the guy said $1,288 then I said I just missed the 10% off deal and they were selling it for $1,212. He then told me alright and I bought it.

I would say yes, obviously pretend you don't need it by Friday and that you couldn't care less if you have to wait till the next sale. Dick smith or JB is probs the best bet.
