          It does

      • +2

I agree. I'm going to get rid of some that I have never worn

    That's a pretty succinct title.

    • Ha, if you can think of a good nickname I will change it.

      • +1

No no, I was being sincere. It's perfect for it.

But that yellow is almost like the Simpsons' skin tone….

For the watch guys and gals out there, where do you (if you do) buy your straps/bands/bracelets from?

I've been looking at getting into watches, however I'm not a huge fan of steel bracelets. I've seen some people mention aliexpress as a budget option. I would prefer a factory leather/rubber strap as it works with the design but I've seen some nice cases that were steel bracelet only.

    • I normally search for images of that watch online in communities like reddit, often there's a previous owner that will list where they got their straps from in the comments.

I've purchased leather straps from Sydney Strap Co as well as Artisan Straps.
I've am very happy with both.
The strap I got from Artisan Straps cost significantly more (than Sydney Strap Co) however, they offer customisation.
I was able to choose the size of the strap at the lugs, buckle width, stitching colour, length of each side.
      I would absolutely recommend both.

Check out Sydney Strap Co, first. See if they have something you like.
Otherwise, if you want something very particular, have a look at Artisan Straps.

    • i bought a saffiano leather/fkm rubber hybrid strap for my tiffany blue dial nj0170-83x from strapify during one of their 20% off sales. it isn't the highest quality and barely fit my skinny wrists but it matches the watch dial perfectly.

Nice neutral yellow colour dial, like March temperature in Melbourne roundabout 28 degrees

They look like solid endlinks too. Nice.

    • Just the endlinks? Are the rest rolled? (I can't tell not an expert)

      • +2

I have it and it’s all solid, end links and rest of them too. Pressed clasp but overall pretty damn happy with it

  • Can I afford another watch?

Is like saying, "I don't even follow Rule #1 of OzB." - Probably @WatchNerd

  • Is this the lowest price it's been? Wow

  • This will be my 4th Starbuy in 3 months. Should I be signing up for some added benefit or is there nothing beneficial to it?

  • Deal of the Day today is Citizen Eco-Drive BM7450-81L (blue dial) $149.00 delivered.
The bezel doesn't rotate on this model. Youtube clip.

    • +1

I'm tempted. Hunned fiddy bucks for a nice looking brand name grab-and-go ecodrive daily beater. I'm just a bit dubious about the red hour hand, that was a strange design choice.

      • +1

speaking of strange, don't those bezel and dial numerals just rub you the wrong way? or just me? lol

        • +2

No, they are a bit off. 30 and 45 on the dial semi-replicating what is on the bezel? And the bezel starting at 20 when it doesn't rotate? Weird.

          • @Astronaut Joe: Yep sometimes less is more, the numbers on the dial don't need to be there. I love different coloured hands though.

But on the other hand it's $149 for a Citizen Eco-Drive which will most likely run for 15 to 20 years non-stop without needing any servicing.

            • @WatchNerd: I'm leaning towards the AW1524-84E now, not that much more and doesn't have the odd numbering. Plus, now that I've seen that massive 12 o'clock index I can't unsee it.
