Outdoor Standalone Solar Powered Security Camera

Block of land which was used as a dump ground by other builders in new estate whilst I stuck overseas 2 years.

(was costly to get that crap removed)

Land is Odd shape which means there are fence boundaries with 3 neighbours.
2 were part of the stage release I bought in. Lovely neighbours

Last one just settled 2 months ago and neighbour advised looks like they might be starting to build and my block perfect for another access to the back of their property and parking materials while they build.

I want help for a STAND-ALONE stored in unit) SOLARPOWERED that doesn’t need a home base.
I have wireless EUFY. 2C in my home at the minute but the wifi drops ALL the time between homebase and unit. Very frustrating . Telstra NBN max 25mbps is all I can get atm (4mgps upload) - can drop any time of day or night…. Can drop connection either to individual camera or the homebase which is Ethernet connected to Telstra 3booster as 2 storey house .

Want to put camera on neighbours houses if allowed - no overlooking anything but my land . I’m assuming I’d have to connect to THEIR home internet for me to access the camera ?

Recommendations please?
Many thanks.

With eufy the camera and the home base have a custom wireless connection. It doesn’t use your normal wifi. The normal wifi is between the eufy cloud and the home base (or Ethernet to your router).

Try and put the home base up high and close as possible to all cameras without losing normal wifi to the router.

Someone in the other thread said this - looks pretty good for a rugged self contained solution

  • Reolink has a 4G model that I use for monitoring an off site storage shed, works well. Even has a sdcard for storage when no cell reception.
