This narratively-driven single player game puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the purge of Order 66 following the events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. On a quest to rebuild the Jedi Order, you must pick up the pieces of your shattered past to complete your training, develop new powerful Force abilities, and master the art of the iconic lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.

I got it on steam and played it on steam deck and love it, but now stuck at those bloody ice caves fml. I went all the way into the map..only to realise I already had the part requried and now need to track all the way back to the bloody ship. I just..I just cant. I'm not strong enough.

Also worth mentioning the game has some decently long unskippable scenes and animations.. the 3d map is also pretty frustrating.

    • +3

yaa that map is crap .. also hate the save logic of the game

    • You are strong enough, Cher.

    • +1

Oh man been there, I got stuck at one spot and the map just had a huge gap between where I was and "main mission" so I thought maybe I had to walk around to another side, like 30min later ended up back at the same spot and realised I just had to jump onto something else haha. great game, but can get lost for purpose

    • +1

the walk back after the end of every mission is so frustrating

    • +1

Yeah I hate the layout of those caves, took ages to get back to the ship.

  • +3

Arguably the best game of star wars that I ever played. Loved it.

    • Good point, added to post. Thanks.

These call-outs are good as I've purchased a few games which I already owned on launchers I don't regularly use or have uninstalled. 🤦‍♂️

  • +2

    Great game. Worth playing now.

Going to hold off on the sequel for a while after it drops. Price will go down and inevitable bugs will be fixed.

    • +1

Yeep! That's the way to go! Don't pay the "Latest and Greatest tax" and "Hamster for stable Beta V1.0"

      • Not to mention the double dipping with the latest and greatest hardware tax to be able to run it at a decent framerate with all the shinies turned on.

    • you can get EA pro play for $20 for a month. Plenty of time to finish the game

      • Im actually on ea play for the year on ps5. Hopefully it comes on there before my sub expires

    • +2

My man. Look up the patientgamers sub on reddit.

      • +1

I love that sub. I need to start being more patient. So many games drop over %50 a year later.
But for some games I just can't wait. The hype is too much.

  • +2

Bought the PS5 version for $7. Fun but gosh, it is frustratingly hard as i am not used to action game…

  • Just in time for jedi survivor. Buy the game, finish it and then play jedi survivor on the 23rd of March using EA play pro for $20.

    Historical low was free

    • Fixed :)

      • +1

still never got around to playing it

    • -1

Still too expensive for a Star Wars branded rock climbing simulator.

  • +1

Does Steam ever have cheap pricing like this? I'm trying to keep games under one platform, but this is good price.

    • +1

Sometimes, though more often than not it's third party sellers like GMG who will offer the lowest prices. I completely understand the sentiment though, I try and get everything on Steam as well!

    • +1

i bought the game on steam for $5.99 a month or 2 ago. You can wait till that price comes again. However it all goes through the dumb EA play app in the end

      • Even Epic Games ?

        • +1

yep any ea title requires the app to play no matter the platform

  • this game and story bored me to tears.
