A good deal if you're new to Hue. B22 bulbs can be adapted to E27 however this adds a little extra length (and cost) to your installation
Philips Hue Starter Kit - 3x 9.5 W B22 Hue Bulbs, 1x Hue Bridge 2.0, 1x Dimmer $139 Delivered @ Powermove Distribution Amazon AU

There is actually another kit (I bought) with the single button for $142.
Is this still active? I can't seem to find one at $142.
No, seems its back up at $176 now
White ambiance are much nicer bulbs than the plain 'white' which are more yellow. Ambiance allows you to adjust the 'whiteness' of the light.
50,000 shades of white!
I have the entire house in full colour ones from when they were cheap, never changed them from default warm white. So if you prefer one of the default whites just get the cheaper ones. Even changing whites is kinda of a gimmick once you know what you like where, cool white looks like a hospital to me and I like how yellow the default is.
This is very very true, the ability to change from cool to warm is great as the daylight goes. In this offers defence it the non adjustable bulbs are still not a bad colour for a household, best to look at them in person I think. The colours are definitely not worth it imo, I bought some colour ones and they've never been set to colour until recently where I fitted them to pendant lights specifically made for ambiance rather than sight. Even then they stay on a warm white unless we have people over.
"B22 bulbs can be adapted to E27"
the E27 similar kit is $109
Similar, because the E27 is only two, not three bulbs, but is $30 less.I elected to post the dearer one as it's arguably better value - seeing as the bulbs retail for $54 and a six-pack of B22 to E27 adapters is $11
fair enough and thanks for listing it, but for someone only wanting the two, and needing E27 specifically, the other is a reasonable option as well.
I've bought a different kit (2 x e27 + hub + dimmer) 10 days ago same store (Powermove distribution) via Amazon, for ~$105.
1) took 8 days to deliver
2) factory seal on the box was cut and sticky tape was applied on top
3) when I started registering hub, I got different errors - I suspect hub was already registered with different account, but it finally worked after couple of resets. Not sure here
4) dimmer was a bit dirty
5) worst thing - plastic film that you need to pull out to activate battery in the dimmer, was missing. As a result, battery was dead - was 0.1 volts.
So it's probably retail return (invoice and amazon clearly say "new"). Not sure if that's my luck of if it's shady seller. However, they refunded me 50% without issues.wow - about a few things in this…
Does seem a bit shady indeed,
and/but I have what I think is the same remote, been using it for years and it gave a low battery indication in zigbee2mqtt, months ago.
Have a replacement battery now, ready to fit, but it is STILL working with the battery that it was supplied with.
I'm not certain on this, but I've seen some comments that the Hue hubs should work as additional routers in Matter, eg in HomeAssistant, once that is properly added into the software.
So, anyone that already has one hub and wants two or three more bulbs and a remote - the extra hub might be useful in future…I don't think these are new. I ordered 4 of these and all boxes were damaged with damaged plastic security stickers and sticky taped back.
I opened the most damanged and rough looking box. Switch and hub appear ok… bulb definately has scratches on it. The base electrical connectors also have indents to indicate all 3 have been in a sockets and removed a few times.
Not sure if I should open the other boxes.I already have 20+ hue blulbs and devices installed and there is a lot more protective plastic around each item when new.
Anyone else get them in a similar condition?
This is a fantastic price, I think I paid a touch more for the same but I got the smart button(single press point) rather than this 3 gang switch. I haven't got the time to research but I would guess this is the cheapest set of bulbs for Apple Home compatible devices, bonus points that its philips brand too.
