Seeing that this phone isn't available officially in Australia yet, I think this is a good deal if you specifically want this phone.

The Optimus 4X is LG's Android 4.0 flagship. Unlike many of LG's previous smartphone offerings, this phone has received good reviews and is generally considered a worthy competitor to the GS3 and the One X.

    Pretty much the same as the S3, I'd prefer the S3 as it has more support for custom roms, and even if you don't root your phone, LG seem to be one of the slowest with updates.

    Battery life and camera are better on the S3, which also has those little features/gimmicks such as smart stay and pop-up play.

    MobiCity is usually one of the more expensive importers out there. If they can sell this phone at $569 delivered, I wonder how low can Kogan/ShoppingSquare/DWI go for…

      It's never come to me why they charge an extra $30 for a difference colour. Like a car, If you purchase white it's usually cheaper as that's the default colour from Factory. In the case; It's a luxury :/

        This phone imo looks a lot better in white, so it's probably just Mobicity cashing in on that.

    Dont buy LG if you want speedy OS updates. I have an Optimus 3D atm and it's a joke that we are still waiting for ICS!! Besides like others pointed out Samsung galaxy series will have a greater custom rom base.

    Don't buy LG. Gingerbread was 1.5 years late from their 'scheduled' date and broke more than it fixed.

    I will never buy an LG phone again. Bought the Optimus 2D for my wife and all it did was increase the whinge factor due to the phone hanging all the time as well as not being contactable. Never had any updates released. Cumbersome computer integration with connection software that reminded me of the 1990's. Replaced it with the Galaxy S2 for her and have not heard anything but praise for the new phone. You know what they say …. happy wife … happy life (with the girlfriend). Ouch
