      For recovery

Yes… because they want to pull stitches out. And this stops them.

      • There are better options.

        • What's an example of a better option? Asking because my cat is probably going to need surgery soon for a lump and I'm researching options

          • @aaronsd: I used this cat recovery suit. Really dependent on the cat. My cat didn't go well with it but also didn't go well with a cone. I'd say the former was a slightly better option.

          • @aaronsd: Ask your Vet what they recommend. They might have something you can borrow.

Your cat is going to be unhappy whatever the collar is.
Frankly, unless our cats were worrying their wounds, we only ever had a collar on for a day or two. After that the stress of the collar was greater than the risk to the wound.

Best of luck for your cat’s health. Make sure you understand the full recovery process and the prognosis. We went through a few months of hell with one of our cats and she died within four months anyway. She was very sick, with multiple issues, and we had pet insurance. We didn’t let her suffer but if we’d known the reality of her issues then we probably would’ve made a different choice. Sorry if I’m alarming you, just making sure you look at this with some clarity because it is really hard to do when it is your pet.

  • Thanks OP. Will try it on the missus tomorrow night.

  • cat burrito 🌯

      purrito

  • Cat toast

  • can i buy this for the kids.?

  • Would this be good for trimming nails? Some cats really hate it and I feel guilty to burrito them.

    • I would be looking for some websites on how to trim cat’s nails. I would, also, offer treats afterwards.

      • The advice I have gathered from both the interwebs and other cat guardians is to burrito them. I don’t do treats with mine in general, they get cuddles and massages instead.

        • We don’t trim our cats nails but we do clean their teeth. The treats mean they don’t hate us.
