They're website has a "franchise" page, assume that answers your question
*their
then don't…
been to my local hunky dory for lunch and they had a board outside saying $10 for fish and chips, with fish being fish of the day. decided to give it a go and noticed on the menu saying fish of the day is either basa / blue grenadier, asked for blue as I don't like basa (who does?).. .then the cashier (presuming it was the owner) saying for 10 you can only get BASA…
I recon for the franchisees they might not want to join these sales but they had no choice, hence the corner cutting…
Anyone can comment how these guys compare to say Sideshow, YOMG and Mad Patties?
I like them better than Sideshow but I don't think $9 for a single patty is actually a bargain.
Agree, although $10 doesn't get you much (in terms of takeaway food) these days!
The Prahran store used to be a Hungry Jacks
They just rebadged and hoped people wouldn’t notice any difference
It's a regional dialect
Was good to see someone finally move in there when they did but god damn… another burger shop on Chapel St? The street is like 20% burger shops.
When did burgers get so expensive?
Even Maccas shocks me for what you get. They became expensive when the delusion of a Burger being fine dining became a thing……
Exactly, when they became overhyped and the generation got convinced it's too much hassle to assemble an already-cut brioche and a patty at home.
I blamed grill'd
To be clear, that generational comment applies to lots of other things. Makes me internally cry when I see groups ordering $20/each pasta dishes of quality less certain than a store-bough jar of sauce that can be heated up with a bag of penne at any home kitchen.
@pizzaguy: Or ordered through uber eats + 30% + service fee + delivery
@pizzaguy: At least there's a chance they made the pasta by hand… how many places make the burger buns from scratch?
It seems we are mostly paying for sugar under the disguise of tasting good. If restaurants were required to list ingredients and nutritional information they would be in trouble.
God I miss the old greek man on a hot plate basic fish chip shop style burger with the lot! I think y'all know what I mean.
They still have these.
Where do you live that doesn't have a chippy?
One of the burgers looks mouldy.
I seem to remember some bad press about Burgertory but their SEO locked up tight.
The bad (and only) press I've heard about Burgertory is from people at work. Does not instill me with much desire to try it
are these guys franchised or direct?
