Best Value Points at Woolies / Coles or Shop Costco ALDI etc

Just wondering how people look at banking savings, I found Flybuys the best however this year Everyday rewards seems to have upped its game.

Interestingly avoiding Coles made the deals better to get back shopping with them.

I usually bank up points for Christmas spend, I like Everyday rewards lets you do that where Flybuys always asks if you want ten off.

Making use of 1/2 price offers etc.. usually find Colesworth has pretty decent deals.

Especially with the rise in prices making savings seems more relevant than ever

who ever is cheapest and can give me the most points
being loyal to one is never good. i shop which ever has the most points. coles last few weeks spend 100 get 2k points.
after a few months of coles, woolies has some better offers, i shop there
shop at aldi for cheaper items or iga as well

unless u live in a one supermarket town, shop who ever has sales, and stick to one for the big shops a few months, and the other will offer u to get you back

pretty much what I do look at the 1/2 price specials and plan shops based on bonus points. end up having $500ish dollars at Christmas between Flybuys prob $350 and $150 in Everyday rewards.. interestingly this year Everyday rewards upped their game and I have $100 already

      • its risky saving so much money on woolies rewards. news articles, topics of people losing money from people some how stealing their number and using it

        withdraw it
stick it in a bank account called christnas savings!

        • would be hard as you need the pin as well when you do flybuys dollars, my biggest risk is when it asks if you want to use $10 and the MRS is shopping

Been getting a heap of great flybuys offers, 1200 points for $30, 2500 points for $40 etc which stacked with their additional 1000 points that could be unlocked in the app. Woolies rewards hasn't been that great lately

    • shop at coles for a month or so and woolies will send you more deals

9 times out of 10 I get more attractive bonus point offers with FlyBuys compared to Everyday Rewards.

It’s been like that for a couple of years now. I almost exclusively shop with Coles as a result, and I’m still not getting many good offers from Woolies.

      me too….
      can't resist 'Spend $60 each week for 4 weeks - get 10,000 FB points' = 20%+ discount

      • yeah got that too after chasing 13,000 everyday rewards followed by 11,000

  • I like everyday rewards plus because you get to take 10% off your shop once per month, well worth the price. I 90% of shopping at Aldi though it’s usually the fresh veg / meat / fish / frozen fish that are substantially cheaper there compared to Coles and Woolworths. Plus the Aldi special buys often have something worth picking up.

  • Best value points ?

Man Aldi doesn't have any loyality rewards system like that, unsure about costco, because I dont have their membership

Its mostly either Flybuys or Everyday Rewards,
Generally speaking Fruit and Veg is cheaper at colesworths compared to aldi, (given you can also buy reduced ones there) .
With Flybuys I've rarely gotten anything, everyday rewards has been way better in terms of the no. of points it gives.

    • have to shop the boosted offers or they are pretty much worthless $1 a point.. and 2,000 points for $10!

Aldi a ghost town in my area as too many people know they can't even get close to the other 2 reward programs with the offers on final price points .

  • We are very lucky in my area to have a 'Fresh and Save' Warehouse - prices better than any of the others, and superb fruit, veg and meat.

And that is even with my husband working at Woolworths! (But their staff discounts at other stores are pretty darn good…)

  • Just shop at Aldi.
No inflated prices by Colesworth to pay for the reward system.
