Cheapest Way to Buy Flight Tickets in Peak Holiday Period

I am a newbie in travelling, as I have spend my money mostly on house and kids. I am planning to go on holiday but can only go on school holiday period.

Is there ever a sale for these periods, or I should just forget about getting bargain unless on school periods

    You won't find bargains at this time as that is when everyone is travelling.

    Ask your travel agent - they have better information than any of us do.

    Don't expect any discounts if they're already filling planes with families willing to pay full fare.

    There is a slight trick of dates. Sales blackouts follow NSW/Vic. SA and others states out of sync can travel in school holidays and still get a deal.

    Unfortunately, little use to you being in NSW. Why not just pull the kids out of school? Unless theyre in 11/12 ofc.

      Or looking at some foreign airlines that just set food on Australian market and not quick enough to cash in, they can be a bit slow to pick up the AI.

    There basically is none…. hence the PEAK period…. aka everyone wants to fly.

    Just need to check prices 6 months before the trip. Usually cheaper if you book early
