Recently saw them appearing on Google flights with extremely low flight prices, at least half of what they are from Melbourne to a destination or back.
Their website doesn't look great. Has anyone flown with them before? What do they compare to? I've flown with AirAsia and I honestly don't mind them.

Yes have flown then 1 or 2 but intra-asia short flights only. Just another low cost carrier like Air Asia, Jetstar, Cebu Pacific etc. Gets you from a to b.
We flew internally with them in Vietnam a few years ago. Check in was chaos, no real line to speak of, lots of shouting going on and pushing in. The plane left on time and we arrived safely, with our luggage and it was extremely cheap, would fly with them again.

I am normally pro-bargains, but something important like a flight I would prefer to arrive at the airport knowing that my flight won't be 'massively' stuffed around.

I guess it was effective then.
Flew with them twice last month. One BKK to Hanoi and one domestic Vietnam.
No problems at all.

Flown them many times in Vietnam and internationally in SE Asia. They're perfectly fine - similar to AirAsia.
