    I finally bit the bullet on this one after so many deals posted recently between tech fast, BPC and enigma, this is just too good of a price. I just noticed I bought another build from you guys back in 2012. Amazing to see how far gaming PC's have come.

      since 4000 series coming onto market and GPU prices of 3000 series dropping across the board. And on this build it's an 11th Gen (2 gen older) CPU hence considered entry. Plenty good for gaming already tho.

      Nah the options aren't really faster for games. Possibly slower, actually. They are slightly older models, but K version for 100 more, or i7 for about 200 more.

      depends on what you are going to use it for. For gaming I agree don't need better CPU.

      If you do have cash I would also not bother with better CPU but 11th Gen. I would instead be looking at 12th Gen or 13th Gen instead of 11th Gen, but you would need to change the mobo and ram so it stacks up from there. Going newer than 11th Gen does provide better longer term upgrades later in life too.
