  Does this just keep recirculating the water from within the bowl? What happens once your pet drinks all the available water, does the pump just keep going with no water to move?

  My Golden can finish a bowl if he is thirsty, probably not the best product for him.

    I have it and yes, it does keep it pumping after water runs out. I would recommend changing the water every few days though so no buildup of bacteria. Overall it's okay, my cat seems to be drinking water a lot more now.
