Which TV Would You Buy? 65" S95B OLED for $1.9k or 75" TCL C835 Miniled for $1.5k

Given the recent deals, I have managed to get both but need to cancel one.

I am slightly leaning towards the TCL as I currently have 75" and may feel weird going down in size. But I am moving to new apartment so the size contrast maybe not too bad in the new place

$1.9k seems crazy good for 65 Q OLED so tough decision.

Is getting both crazy? OLED for the bedroom and MiniLED for living?

OLED for sure, but seeing how it is Samsung(mediocre service, quality control) + OLED (bending issues) + 1 Year warranty. I vote for TCL.

    • Thanks. Agree that despite ACL, the 1 YR warranty is disappointing for a flagship TV.

OLED for sure, TCL is a great budget tv but has nothing on OLED. TCL’s are also sub-par for watching sport on (or any fast moving image).

    • even for a MiniLED? I am new to the TV game so want to confirm

  • How did you get the "75inch TCL c835 MiniLED for 1.5k"? I'm ready to go at that price.

    • Oh, I missed the deal yesterday :-(

      • Tbh I am not sure it will be honoured so let’s see

From reviews, the c835 is getting as close to Oled as an LED can do. The Google TV intrgration is a major selling point for me. I wouldn't touch any other UI in our household now. Size for size, a 75"+ Oled is just so much more expensive.

Interesting, didn’t expect the poll to be so one sided, given such good pricing of the OLED vs retail. I shall trust the Ozbargain community

  • Consumer Law overrides any manufacturer warranty. You can literally deal with store you purchased from and get them to sort it out, they sometimes say you have to go through the company but no they sold you the product not the brand. Obviously the higher the rrp of the tv you buy the longer you would expect it to last for, a $500 75" tv hard to argue past 2 years but anything is possible. Tvs should last 4-5 years as a minimum
