Anyone Know Why I Can't Use Cash + Miles Feature on Thai Airways?

Hey,

Trying to book a flight and have 17k miles available. When I checkout, it gives me the option to use cash + miles, but when I start using the miles slider an error message pops up which says "Not Allow to exceed Maximum Miles Usage ( -23000 Miles)". No idea what this means, can't find any restrictions in the terms and conditions, or fare rules about this.

Any ideas?

Tried calling them but so far no one seems to be responsible for online bookings.

    You won't get a response, customer service on Thai Airways is non-existent.

    I managed to get a chargeback from them from the credit card company, as I couldn't contact Thai Airways to cancel a flight booking. But now, after 6 months, Thai Airways have challenged the chargeback. The saga continues.
    Be warned.

      Yeah they're slipping for sure. Only reason I'd fly is to get $150 or so off the flight, and the times works a lot better for me.

    Friend recently had similar problem and only way to resolve issue was to ring Thai Airways in Bangkok. They were very helpful.
