$10 Credit Each for Referee & Referrer for 1Password Family Accounts (Max 3 Referrals) @ 1Password

00

I received this email from 1Password this morning. I can't seem to find anything on the website about referrals, which a Google search indicates they previously did not offer. Unsure if targeted. Interestingly, too, I don't even manage a 1Password subscription; I instead use my sister's Family Account. I don't know (yet) if she received a code of her own and whether it's different to the one I received, nor exactly in what form the "credit" will be applied to me as I don't make payments. Perhaps it just goes onto her account, which would be fine by me.

I love using 1Password, since it integrates with Face ID on my iPhone, as well as Windows Hello on my desktop PC webcam. I never have to type passwords any more.

You do need to type it in once when you open the browser daily๐Ÿ˜†

That is true, haha. Small price to pay.

    • If workplace is using 1password, check your account you should have access to 1password family.

      • Thank you!! Actually Iโ€™m pretty happy with Safari and Chrome saving + prefilling my passwords. No need for an extra tool right now prolly ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

Microsoft Authenticator is good too. Doesn't just save passwords - provides one time sign in codes that refresh every 30sec, ability to change passwords, update security info and review recent activity. Can enable autofill and secured access with biometric or pin.

Also easier than typing password on Xbox ๐Ÿ˜‚

      • Sounds complicated to kickstart ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

        • Not really, it's almost all done app-side. Just make it your default autofill in settings and sign into the accounts you want to authenticate (actions from OTPs to recent activity). Autofill will then work like Safari with the added benefits.

With a Windows PC, Live work account, Xbox and Authenticator app I'm getting maximum efficiency using this one service. Services like 1Password are great for multiplatform ability.

I just liked the product when they first started and wanted to support them so paid up on google play. Itโ€™s very rare for me to pay for anything on the phone.
