What's The Best Deal on a 65" or 75" Non OLED TV Currently? (Budget $1500)

Looking for a shop price on a new 65'' to 75'' TV non OLED. I can't see too many deals out there. Can anyone recommend anything?

Thank you.

  • Budget?
What do you watch? Sports? Fast action ?
Have you got heaps of light in the room during the day?
    Viewing angle?
    Viewing distance?

Thanks for the reply. Budget give or take. Say 1500 sports important? Yes, relatively dim room. Not too bright. Distance would be say 2.5 to 3 m to viewing viewing angle would be pretty much direct. Not much side angle viewing

Going to need to sharpen your pencil Idon't really want to spend 2300. I'm sort of looking give or take 1500 couple hundred either side

  • What TVs have you considered so far?

    • TCL Hisense and Samsung LG not sure of the model numbers, I just thought maybe there's a good promo on at the moment. Could go to about $1800 for the right TV.

    • Last one so you'll need to be quick, but it's a good TV at a great price.

If you watch sport - get a Sony (their motion handling is the best in the business).

    I would recommend this deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/747306

Even though it says sold out, they come into stock quite often (10 have sold in the past week) - https://www.ebay.com.au/bin/purchaseHistory?item=28490437027…

Sony eBay store has many other offerings too - https://www.ebay.com.au/str/sonyaustralia

    Kogan.

70" 4K android TV $799, or $829 for non members.

Deal ends in 40 hours. Thursday.

It may not be the best TV, but its probably the best deal. And that's what you said you want.

No friend should ever recommend another friend a Kogan branded product unless he/she is your enemy.

      • A friend lets their friend decide and choose what's important - whether they want cheapest or best or whatever else - rather than imposing what they think is important on them.

      • 4y kogan 55" tv user here.
Had to to firmware update on day 2
Sometimes the screen goes blank when it's full screen mode and watching a video(via console or desktop, ard once a month)
        Except great.

  • Usually the more you pay, the better the processor, so sports look better. Also, changing channels, navigating menus is cheaper, as I found our Bauhm is quite slow for basic tasks, Network drops out etc

  • Thanks for the replies guys. Some good deals there.

  • Another option is buying 2nd hand, especially if the tv isn’t very old - it will still carry consumer law warranty.

In your price range you’ll find 65” Sony and LG oled’s that are 1-3 years old and have nothing wrong with them.

  • I am currently tossing up between a 75” Samsung q60b for $1100 or 75” Hisense u7hau for around $1400 both seem ok value for money. Hisense seems to have better features and warranty though
