How to Use ASUS RT-AX56U with Merlin

Hi All,

First time getting a new router from ozbargain deal as I have been using the Archer VR1600 provided by my ISP but needed something with better range. I read some comments regarding merlin and was wondering if there is a guide on how to install that and what are the benefits/uses?

      Thank you will have a look. Managed to find a 3rd party website that showed it was literally just downloading and updating the firmware.

    Asus supports having a wifi mesh network through their AiMesh. You could also look at getting a compatible Asus node to work in the mesh which can get you a wider wifi range.

      Just got the AX56U from recent OzB deal to replace my current one and see the difference. I already have a powerline adapter to a spare router but that's creating a speed bottleneck in my room as I got an old powerline adapter (new one's are ridiculously priced).
