I have an issue recently where my Uber One benefit didn't apply as the store cancelled one of my items and the total went under the required amount. Never had issue like this before so I wasn't aware that UberEats doesn't have call/chat support unlike DoorDash at least in Aus.
I have raised an enquiry through their "Support Message" menu and I read somewhere they'll respond within 48 hours, which is not the case.
I was wondering if anyone had any luck getting a response through the Support Message? Or are there any other means contacting them?
Its a huge glitch! You approve of the amount to be charged then later it takes extra out of the account without approval. The first time it happened about 2weeks or so ago I got a refunded for the 2nd charge. I'm waiting on a reply for yesterdays overcharge now.
The original uber eats summary is normal showing the discounts. Once something is refunded the discount gets removed and the original summary disappears. Its very sneaky as their is no original receipt given. You are only given a receipt when items are delivered.
