      Wattage 2400w
      Capacity 8 Litres
40°C - 230°C, so it's not your new pizza oven.

      • thats actually one of the reasons i picked this one up lol In the hopes it'll make a better pizza then my oven. sort of a stepping stone towards the breville Pizzaiolo. Plus the form factor of this one seems a lot more functional then the traditional egg shape.

for a basic pizza oven you can't go past the one of these masterpro ultimate pizza oven they get hot enough for all sorts of fancy pizza without breaking the bank.

          • @nerd1: ok yep thats a good price point for the temp it gets

I don't know what your current oven is, but I would assume that for pizza specifically this one is going to be worse. You might be able to switch off the fans (which are the main feature of air fryers), so your pizza doesn't get dry before it cooks, but I wouldn't expect it retains heat better then a regular oven to keep that pizza cooking.

Having said that, it's only my gut feeling and I've never used it.

As per the discussion here, I'd get HIZO E12 Electric Pizza Oven. I'm only waiting for money to order it.

          • @pizzaguy: Ah ok, I see your point. I had thought seeing as it was a smaller space it would be able to maintain its heat a lot better.

man, the hizo looks great!! Thanks for the tip. I won't be able to get that in my kitchen, however, so if i really get into home pizza's ill definitely grab that next time for the shed.

            • @Samon: I might be wrong, so fingers crossed.

To be clear, you'll certainly cook a pizza in it, in some way, but don't expect wonders.

And Hizo isn't that much bigger than Ninja. It's taller and doesn't flip, but it's narrower.

              • @pizzaguy: haha yes my fingers are crossed! Im also going to be using it as a general cooker, not just for pizzas, so Im not stressed if its not perfect.

I read that the Hizo needs a proper surface area + space to operate on..? That was what I was thinking about re: kitchen space.

@pizzaguy: I have one similar to the Hizo, (https://product.newaim.com.au/products/devanti-2000w-electri… - but was $225 from Catch)

It works really well, took a while to get the temps right for top and bottom, i generally don't go super hot as i like a thick base so needs a bit more time to cook through.

A mate bought the Hizo gas oven and has been pumping out pizza most weekends and thinks it's pretty ace.

This one on the other hand looks like a last-resort thing for people who don't have a regular oven. Or can't have two regular ovens, but need another oven-like appliance.

French door style is going to be impractical IMO unless you're some specific case.
