Roughly $2 cheaper than a month ago. Mixed reviews, but cheap. Headline price is $10.88, but there was an option for a 5% off coupon which cut the price to $10.34 for me.

I've had a whole host of branded and semi-branded cables that feel nice, work well, and have lasted years…and they didn't cost me much more.
I don't get why people bother with junk unbranded cables. They waste your time and waste your money. They're cheap, they're not a bargain.
Any particular brands you'd suggest?
anker
I find it difficult to give Anker money in light of the whole Eufy local-only camera scandal. They lied, got caught, and treated their customers with immense disrespect. Anker hasn't made the situation right, they've only doubled down on their position.
I'm a life long Anker customer. I bought another two Anker powerbanks not long before the scandal broke.
If Anker sincerely apologised, came clean, and made things right with their Eufy camera customers then I'd be ready to listen. As things stand though, I'm not buying Anker.
My problem with Anker isn't that they were streaming live video from supposed "local network only cameras" unencrypted to the internet for anyone to peep on, nor that they uploaded face thumbnails to the cloud for a product that claimed it had no cloud connection, or exposing their encryption keys in plain text. Those are all screw ups, but every company stumbles. It's the egregious lying and arrogance from Eufy and then Anker that gets to me.
I never bought a Eufy product, but if this is how Anker treats its customers, then I don't want to do business with them.
I've got some of cheap branded stuff, like baseus. They're very acceptable if you want cheap. Otherwise I've picked up random cygnet, belkin, anker, when they're on sale.
If you can get a Chinese brand called PISEN, best cable I had. Fast changing, reliable, and I have never had one failed for years yet.
Maybe costed me $5-8 each. The Baseus ones I've had have never broken.
Had: I've lost them.
i bought these and never used after i see people insert some sort of hacking chip inside cheap cables. i know it sounds like sci-fi conspiracy but that’s also scary.
I think your cables would be fine, ygttt.
The malicious USB cables cost $120-200 USD each depending on what features the hacker wants. When the creator was building them by hand it took him 4-8 hours per cable.
There's no way that an Amazon seller is going to be spiking your el cheapo USB cables with hundreds of dollars worth of gear on the off chance that they'll recoup their costs somehow.
I bought a 4 pack of identically looking charging cables from a different brand, Haribol, about 2 and a half years ago. All the cables except the 3m stopped working. I use the 3m daily till this day so YMMV but I am still cautious with it. I like that these cables are flexible at the ends so no need to worry about them breaking/fraying due to bending.
Don't expect these to last more than a few months.
