The best framing hammer, though the milled face is the better option.
Not for weekend, do a little around the house guys.

    • Better than Stiletto???

      • I've never heard of these Stiletto hammers. The review video looks awesome! Have you used them?

    • Out of curiosity - how come? does it need better accuracy to wield well?
What's a good weekend warrior hammer?

These hammers are just under 1kg (800 gms). and the head is large and the handle is long.
It's really built for just one purpose, and that is to hit hard.
For an every day hammer try a 20oz Estwing or similar.

Or even 16oz for light-moderate warrioring. And a standard curved claw as opposed to this straighter framing hammer design.

Had a builder leave one of these Estwing after a reno and it was the best hammer I have used. Much better than the cheaper Stanley from Bunnings.

  • Now this is an Estwing hammer deal.

  • not really a great deal, these hammers have been much cheaper on amazon if i remember correctly
