Viofo WM1 Dashcam

Hi Ozbargainers,
I received an email from Viofo about the new WM1.
Just wondering what everyone thinks about the value, features and specifications.
I have the A119 V3 which hasn't been reliable and has lots of glitches.
It's a PITA needing to remove the SD card to download video to my PC and needing to change settings on the dashcam.
I like that the WM1 has wifi and connects to an app to change settings, preview and download video.

  It's USB Type C at least.

  Only 1 camera (so far)

  Buy the Fuse Tap seperatly.

      It's the industry standard. All Current Smartphones use them to charge with. It's faster than old tech like micro USB/Mini USB/Lightning etc. It's universal. Even all current ipads and tablets use it (except the 9th gen ipad).

      Apple made a backward move by throttling the speed on the overpriced 10th gen (so I didn't buy one, to go with my 5th gen ipad). My Macbook Pro M1 uses it to charge with, and quite a few other notebooks do (Lenovo?)

      The other positive is that if you have the wiring running through your car, and you need to replace the device, chances are that it will be compatible, and not need to be run through the car again.

          @Nugs: As always something better will come along. However look at Midi? It's been in use since the early-mid 80s. Midi 2.0 was announced a few years back, but not many devices have been released that support it.
