So I'm looking for a portable speaker with the additional feature of being able to charge my other USB devices (for airplane travel)
I'm aware of the JBL Charge, the Anker Motion Boom but ideally would like something a little smaller than these two options.
Is anyone aware of anything else, or are these my only options?

Wouldn't be much capacity with only 5200mAh. Remember there are energy losses (e.g. heat, efficiency) if you plan to use it as a speaker as well as powerbank you might barely get any charge out of it to your phone.

It is a lot bigger though at 35cm wide.
But it has a 10,000mAh battery so at least you will get both speaker use and powerbank use out of it.
USB power output is still the slow charge 5V/1A output though.
nah, you are better off getting them seperately. get a power bank with usb-c charging, it takes forever to charge on a regular usb.
Agreed. These devices tend to charge very very slowly and not worth the bother. Most airlines have USB charging in all chairs, just carry a cable. Also a separate power bank is always a better option.
Yeah all the large capacity bluetooth speakers with USB output charging I have seen are bigger ones.
Buying them separately will definitely be lighter weight and also take up much less space for travel.
The Anker Soundcore Boost Bluetooth Speaker (from last night) also has a USB Out Port for charging other devices.
