  • or buy overture pla for $28 on amazon and get a guaranteed great print

If you're buying PLA at $28 a spool off Amazon you likely don't know much about Filament and should leave boring snarky comments to yourself.

    • Well each to their own, plastic is plastic, id suggest giving it a shot at 17$ a kg but if you hold Overture to a high standard then this filament is not targeted at you.

      • At $17 + expensive shipping it becomes comparable or more expensive than getting it with free shipping from Amazon, from well known and tested brands.

    • Or esun… or any other brand that has been tried and tested.

    • Overture petg sucks

    $24 shipping for two rolls.

Hey! the shipping scales back with more rolls ordered, if you order more rolls or "in bulk" the shipping price may come down to less then 1$ per spool.

If you are local or in the NSW metro area the shipping caps off at 10$ for 16 spools shipped to your door.

It largely varies on location, the best possible options of course are pickups in the local area where there's not extra cost at all.

We do use sendle to send shipments and currently don't offer Australia post, with that being added soon, the main focus is local area.

Hope that informs you as to the shipping costs!

      • Thanks. Still seems quite cheap for asa. Definitely an awesome deal for local pick up.

  • Was keen to try it, but the shipping price really kills it. $22 to Vic.

Hey! If you do buy in bulk that does drop as stated but I do understand if you don’t want to take the risk upfront and buy multiple spools in one go, there soon will be a shop opening in Victoria providing the same filament at the same cost thus will lower shipping for you but that shop recives stock from P3D in about a month or so.

      • Any updates on the VIC supplier? Looking to try out the fillament but can't afford to buy in bulk unfortunately.
Also are these sale prices or is this just your normal price?
        Thanks :)

Give it one more shot the shipping rate has been slightly adjust (15% less)

      • Cheers - alright, giving it a shot, curious about the CF filaments too, so yolo

  • Any reviews or testimonials?

Seems like a risk to buy from an unknown brand…

Too many to count, unfortunately they are not in a public forum, they are on a local maker discord server, but yesterday 200 rolls were sent out to 45 different people and they have been repeat customers, there reviews will start flowing in once the review tab is enabled on Shopify, so if you do check back in 2-4 days there should be reviews from people who use it.

Also the filament gets restocked monthly and I’ve been selling the same filament locally for the past 3 years.

I have printed about 8kg of the ABS and 2kg of the CF-PLA. I ordered more ABS and am tempted to double the order again. The ABS is unbeatable for this price and has already been more consistent in print quality than the 10kg of eSun ABS+ I've printed.

The CF-PLA filament has a fairly rough texture and had too much friction in the reverse bowden tube. I mounted a spool holder over head and ran it straight into the extruder with only a short 4cm bowden tube and it printed great. Little but whispy, but that could be because I didn't dry it and it's not different to any other water loving CF filament.

  • For PETG for this brand, the sweet spot is 235 C / Hotend, 80 C/Heatbed (PEI)

Very small stringy, use slow steady speed 60, however simple object like boxy shape, I could crank up to 90

    Hope it helps

    • Can you please share?

  • Rep, $70 order and $35 postage. No thanks. A retail Australia Post extra large satchel (you can buy them cheaper in bulk) is only $20 up to 5 kilos. Sendle is shafting you.

    • They don't sell the goods at cost prices. If that was the case they will run it at a loss.
Please find me a better deal at those prices? I'm not affiliated with them, I just run my own business.

  • People need to get a reality check. Cheapest ASA I can find in $45+freight. PCCF is $90+freight and has been out of stock for months. The only option is Prusa PCCF at approx $140 for 750grams + freight. eSun ABS is about $25+freight locally or $33 with amazon prime. Good luck finding eSun ASA.
Just ordered 5 spools of ASA and ABS for a try. $38 shipping to Vic…not bad. If it checks out its a win.
