cheap crap that breaks easily. mine stopped charging after a month.

    • Mine is about a year and bit old has some dead sections of the LED otherwise works well. Battery isn't the best but definitely not as bad as other LED torches I have

      This is the real deal.

  • These things have been advertised all over Facebook like some miracle product. I can't see the benefits of the ultra wide light angle. I mean, with a prehistoric narrow beam headlamp, I would just move my head to look in the direction I wanted to see.

    • They're good for exploring stormwater drains. Those tunnels can be pretty wide.

These headlamps are actually quite impressive. I had a power outage one night and fired one of these up and it just flooded the whole room with light. It was as though the ceiling light was still on. For the price, I definitely recommend them. I've had mine for more than 2 months so far and no issues (although I've only used it a handful of times). Good for camping too. The main issue is that it can be a bit blinding to other people around you but they can just suck it up or put a pair of sunnies on :D

Edit: You can also get them on ebay for a similar price

    • The wide spread is great for ceiling space inspections, I use both torches and fixed beam ones and this definitely has advantages, especially given it is light weight something you appreciate after extended use.

One was DOA I had to open up the rubber to resolder the connection. But works fine since. Super shit quality, when it works it is nice but maybe 9$

Would definitely save up the 20 and get something decent (just bought skilhunt 04rc see how it goes)

  • You too can look like Geordi La Forge from star trek with these
