  • Damn, Can decide whether to wait for a further price reduction or just grab this!

    • +1

Cheapest I could find 3 weeks ago was $145, I think you should be happy with your $45 discount and just buy one. It'll be the best $100 you spend on your PC, ever!

      • I need it for my laptop, need to confirm the compatibility first.

        • +1

Cheaper next month :) …..long as the Dollar stays strong

        • Golly Gosh these prices are tumbling down…, whats happening ? lol

  • Good deal.

    Thanks OP.

  • +2

Where were you yesterday? I could have saved 12 bucks.

    • The one that was on sale yesterday from Mwave was the retail pack i do believe.

      • What's the difference?

        • +1

For retail pack, you get a 2.5 to 3.5 inch adapter (aka mounting bracket) with screws, SATA III cable, and a power cable (I think to convert the old style IDE hard drive power supply head to the SATA power supply head). Roughly $15 if you were to buy them yourself. Good to have (even if you have spare SATA cable and the power converter cable, you still save $9 and avoid the trouble to go to a computer store to buy a mounting bracket).

P.S. unless it is for a laptop, then you probably don't need the retail pack.

non whatsoever related to the product. Packaging looks better I suppose

        • +5

From description: "Reseller pack with bracket & cables"

    • I wish this was posted yesterday too!!

    • It wasn't a deal, so why'd you buy? Takes <60sec to check the "deal" against staticice.com.au

It was the same price everyone else was selling for (once you add shipping).

      THIS is a real deal!

  • bought, x2!

  • dammmmit i bought a samsung already -_-

  • all gone?

  • Product not found when clicking on the link.

$99 for a 120GB SSD? The fecal matter was recently actualised!

  • I want to give support but I can't find anything else good to buy. In fact I don't even need the SSD, just buying because it's cheap.

  • Clicked and then … Product Not Found: HDSSDIN330S0120 ????

  • Service Unavailable

  • Damn, where were you yesterday :(

    ???

  • I'm keen if they're available.

  • Na their site is down lol

  • Service Unavailable. Netplus got Ozbargainized less than 1hr?

  • I don't need one but would have bought one at this price.

  • Bitches got DOS'ed, fix yo shiz!

  • They're website seems fine … just a problem with that particular item …

  • It's back…

  • Link is back up. But back to $117

    • What about after the code?

    • +1

gotta put in BOOST as the code.

  • I wanty one

  • "Thankyou for shopping at NetPlus

Your order reference number is xxxxxxxxxxx"

    Woot!

  • got one… bam .. :)

  • Just ordered one myself.
    First SSD for me.
Hope they are as good as i think they are…

    • +1

They really do make a world of difference. Everything else in your PC is fast, the one thing that's comparatively sloth like is a mechanical HDD. An SSD solves this, big time.

  • Purchased :)

  • I showed amaizing restraint and didn't buy one - I'll wait till I need one and it will only be cheaper. Great price though.

  • Looks like they are taking orders for the next batch.
The first batch has sold out so if you order now, you will need to wait longer.

  • +1

Damn you OzBargain, my fourth SSD and again I definitely didn't need one!

  • ITS UP!! ITS UP!! ITS UP!!

    • Yes, it is up, but now you are basically pre-ordering the SSD (as the ones they have in stock have all been sold).

      • The OP says:

"Hurry as only a few of these are arriving later today. Once sold out, we will not be able to repeat this price!"

So I'm unsure if there were multiple batches or just one?

        • Good point. Maybe the Rep/OP can clarify. The site says no stock available, more on the way, was it the same status for people who bought them before the site went down temporary due to the high demand?

  • -1

RAID it to double the speed! :)

    • -2

      Ferrari in the back-streets. Pointless.

And why risk ALL of your data for it?!

Not sure what I'm referring to? Read-up on RAID0

      • A 30% (not 100% unfortunately) speed increase with a 2x SSD stripe is well worth it if you want that extra performance…

…and if you have regular backups you can quickly recover from if one of the drives fails. At least these dont suffer mechanical problems like traditional drives.. only electrical faults which traditional drives also have.

  • "No stock available" :(

    • you can still order with the code, i'm assuming it will just take longer to get it… (hoping.. since i ordered one) lol

  • Thanks, purchased one.

  • So when's the next batch due?

  • Nice! I got mine for ~$150 when they were released - it's been stable as a rock ever since.

    • How fast is the Windows 7 boot up?

I found with 240GB/256GB SSDs, there is a difference between SSDs (basically, it depends on the chipset and the NAND technology). For 240 GB second-gen SandForce SSDs with Toggle NAND (e.g. intel 550, Patriot Wildfire, SandDisk Extreme), Samsung 830 SSD 256 GB, the bootup is impressive (< 5 seconds). Crucial m4 256 GB is around 7-8 seconds (still very good).

My 128GB SSD is a slow one (10+ seconds)… so just wondering how long it takes intel 330 to boot Windows 7.

  • When does the coupon get applied? I'm a bit hesitant placing a order when it's showing the SSD at full price, with delivery price as well

    • -1

During the checkout phase, under 'Promo Code' header

      • -1

That's where I am and it hasn't changed any thing.

Edit: Now it's been removed from the website. Poor form.

        • the other 3000 people before you had no issue. I'd say it was your browser as it automatically updated the cart (without having to hit a button) when I entered the code.

        • +2

Not really NetPlus fault, they had limited stock from what I gather and when the stock was emptied they took it off?

  • Product Not Found: HDSSDIN330S0120

  • I think it's been taken down ftl

  • sold out???

  • Is this 7.5mm or 9.0mm?

    • -1

      Why?

  • +2

Rep can you do anything for those of us who tried to purchase one of these a few hours ago but were unable to because of your website problems?

    • +6

Unless you're desperate, these stuffs can only get cheaper…. :-)

  • Damn… missed it.

  • I just installed one of these yesterday, I'm very happy with it :)
I previously had a OCZ Vertex 2 which I was also very happy with.
The Intel however came with better accessories and performance, including it's own sata 6gb/s cable, a short molex to sata power cable and a 3.5" adapter plate.

    • I'm still riding my OCZ Vertex 2, and curious about these newer drives.

It came with the bracket (not needed), and I've got boxes of spare cables. Speeds don't vary a bit with SATA cables. Plenty of reviews to dis-prove the hype. When it comes to power, I re-crimped all the SATA I needed. No need for adaptors. Don't trust them anyway, since they're usually thin & crappy wires/connectors.

      • Yeah I just needed some more storage, I didn't need the cables but I thought it was a nice thought a lot of people would probably use them. Also I wanted a sata 6 os drive. The vertex will be used for something else. Honestly I feel it is a bit faster, of course a fresh install doesn't hurt.
The bracket was good, the bracket with the ocz wasn't as good (smaller size).
End of the day the average user would love it.

  • just have to post that within a few hours netplus had updated my order and dispatched the item, fantastic service considering how many orders they would have gotten, i was impressed.

    thanks netplus..

    • Same! On board with driver this morning, should arrive today … that will be amazing if it does!
