Possibly named after the Honda CR-X, I saw this 3D printer at Jaycar this morning. This is the "Pro" version, not the "Amateur" version the plebs use. Jaycar advertises it online for $999, but it looks cheaper instore. Cheaper than anywhere else I can find. I don't own a 3D printer, but maybe this will be useful to someone.

Anybody know what you'd need dual filament for printing on a regular basis? compared to slicing for the filament changes?
one use is print support in pva (dissolves in water) main part in non water soluble
other use is mixing same colour much more than you'd want to do manually (eg there's a spotty frog that i'd like to print, but it would take days if I did manually)
both of these involve change of filament on basically every layer
You'd have to want to print a lot of these to make it worth it. But I guess its just another nice to have option
