Ordered a PSVR2 from Sony's store taking advantage of the AMEX deal for $100 off.
My expectation is it won't ship till the 22nd. Anyone else in the same boat but has had an update on their order or heard differently?

Gran Turismo 7 is absolutely awesome in VR, though I only played for two races. The VR mode is (as far as I could tell) only enabled once the race starts, it then put yours in the drivers seat.You have an avatar you control and as you move your head around the cockpit, the body moves with it! Nice attention to detail. I did laugh watching the feet press the accelerator but the avatar's foot never touched the clutch in a manual car ha ha.
Kayak VR is absolutely mesmerising! The graphical fidelity is top-notch and the physics-based water is very impressive.
Tentacular was really fun, I only played that for halfa before the right controller battery died (whoops didn't think to charge them after playing Kayak VR for a while)
Haven't played Call of the Mountain yet as it was downloading. I have also got Zombieland: Headshot Fever to play, as well as: After the Fall, What the bat? Moss: Book ii (I played the first which was so much fun), Resident Evil Village, No Man's Sky.

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon — on the Amazon product page it actually says the release date is 23 February for some reason, so I don't expect to get it until later that day or the day after. But knowing Amazon, you'd have to be fully prepared for it to be delivered a few days after launch.
Perhaps online stores have been deliberately disadvantaged? Seems you can pick up your unit from whichever retailer you ordered on 22nd but online shipped orders are not even acknowledging actual release date. Suits me fine. If I can get one in store on 22nd I will cancel Amazon, as it won't have even shipped.
Probably doesn't need to be said but make sure your cancellation goes through before you pay for another! Would devastate me if I was in your shoes and Amazon ships it as you walk out the store with another
