So I had flights booked via Qatar Airways (booked via Aunty Betty) April 2020 and looking at travelling again this year and have encountered the following issues:
* Tried to rebook flights to Asia with another airline and they have said they will have to see if they can get a refund through Qatar Air
* They have been horrible with their communication and it has taken three weeks so far with not confirmation if this can be done
* I just spoke to someone now who said that there was a 2 year limit on my flight booking and Qatar air has now cancelled these flights
I was wondering if anyone could shed light on their experiences.
What have you done that's helped you get a resolution on this matter?
I’ve tried to use a COVID credit with them without success too. Several times they have committed to get back to me in x amount of days and have failed to do so. The credit I had mentioned no expiry and no particular airline it needed to be used with, but they have insisted it must be used with the airline which was originally booked, which is impossible because they don’t fly in Australia, and my entire overseas holiday during COVID was cancelled. It’s with my State’s fair trading, but they are about as useful as useful as Aunt Betty.
