Google Pixel 6 Pro or Alternatives

Hi, upgrading from an LG V30.

The Pixel 6 Pro looks like a good phone for sround the $700 mark. Any other suggestions?

Pixel 7 Pro, especially if you like taking macros/close-ups. No such thing on P6P so you have to use zoom to get close ups.

    Does 6A even have macro? Dunno about the 7. The OP didn't mention they were interested in a normal 6 so I didn't mention it.

    For the 7 Pro, in the camera / video app you have a "Zoom" slider that goes from "Ultra Wide" (0.56x) to "Zoom" (20x) seamlessly!
    
    The AI tech also detects when you are close to an object and auto-switches to "Macro mode/focus" which also works with the "Zoom" mode seamlessly (you never have to think about which camera you need to use for any object you want to shoot)!
    
    I was playing around with a patterned pillow, I could macro (literally less than 1cm from the object) and zoom to focus on the individual fibres in the pillow cover material :D
    
    Due to the different cameras on the 7 / 6 Pro / 6 / 6a, you don't get the macro ability!

Go for the 7 Pro. Definitely skip the 6.
